Nursing Assistant (NA) Course: Upcoming Start Dates

6 Weeks:
Monday-Thursday 5:00PM to 10:00PM
Saturday 8:00AM to 4:30PM

The CNA class is capped at 15 students. If there are less than 10 students enrolled for the CNA class, the class will be postponed. You will be informed when a class will be postponed only if you have successfully completed the enrollment process. You will be contacted via the email and/or phone number written in the enrollment form.

Upon enrollment, the enrollees must submit the following requirements at least one (1) week before the start of the class.
  1. Copy of Covid-19 Vaccination record
  2. Copy of Live Scan (digital fingerprint) completed form
  3. Physical Exam done by MD or Nurse Practitioner with TB test
  4. Copy of High School diploma in English. If a foreign diploma does not have English translation, the diploma must be translated to English by Certified Diploma Translation Services.
  5. Complete, Sign and submit Enrollment document
  6. Bring a copy of your Social Security Card
  7. Bring a copy of California Driver License/California ID, Passport or Work Permit. All forms of ID must be valid and not expired.

Additional Information regarding high school/ college diploma requirement:
  • High school/college diploma (or unofficial transcript), GED equivalent. Students enrolling in our programs must have the level of English language proficiency required is of the 12th grade level. English proficiency is demonstrated by possessing a HS diploma or its equivalent from a USA school. Must demonstrate ability to  speak, read, understand, communicate in English at 12th grade level and be able to follow English directions and skills in English. Must reflect sufficient English language proficiency to be successful in an English based curriculum.

CPR: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers

Class Dates: Friday or Saturday -- Call to confirm. Start times vary. Class may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
Class Times: 9:30am to 1:30 pm

** Low enrollment (less than 2 students) will result in class cancellation. Please call to confirm attendance for a specific date. **

* To reserve a seat in a CPR class call (510) 481-0240. You will need to provide us with your name and phone number. We will call to confirm attendance for the class a day before the class date (usually Friday for a Saturday morning class). We only accept cash, check or money order as forms of payment for the CPR class. The cost of the in-person BLS class is $120.00. If there is low enrollment for a CPR class (less than 3 people), we will cancel the class. Please call to confirm CPR class attendance.

We offer skills check for BLS renewals who have completed the American Heart Association Heartcode BLS Online. We require you email the instructor ([email protected]) the Heartcode BLS completion certificate before scheduling the skills check. Cost of the skills check is $60.00 (cash, check, or money order). You must bring in the most recent addition of the BLS student manual. The BLS student manual can be the physical book or the digital eBook version.
