The current class is in-person instruction for both the theory and skills lessons. The skills lessons will occur at a skilled nursing facility. The location of the facility will be stated on the first day of the CNA program.

Enrollment Process Modifications due to COVID-19
Each CNA class is capped at 15 students. Only people who have completed the enrollment process at least 1 week before the first day of class are considered successfully enrolled in the CNA class.

*Nursing Assistant (NA) Course *Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and at least 1 COVID Booster are required for enrollment into the CNA and HHA programs. Additionally, you must provide copy of negative COVID-19 Swab test result 1 day prior to Clinical internship beginning of week #3.
Enrollment Requirements:
*High school/college diploma (or unofficial transcript), GED equivalent. Student enrolling our programs must have the level of English language proficiency required is of the 12th grade level. English proficiency is demonstrated by possessing a HS diploma or its equivalency from a USA school. Must demonstrate ability to speaks, read, understand, communicate in English at 12th grade level and able to follow English directions and skills in English. Must reflect sufficient English language proficiency to be successful in an English based curriculum.
If less than 9 students are enrolled for the CNA class, the class will be postponed. You will be informed when a class will be postponed only if you have successfully completed the enrollment process.
If you have completed majority of the required documents, please call the school to give your status for completion and status of enrolled students. The phone numbers for the school are: (510) 481-0240 and (510) 481-0360. Because your student file is still incomplete, you are not enrolled in the CNA class. All required documents and fees must be completed to be officially enrolled. Enrollment is on a first come first serve basis. Late submissions of required documents or initial fee payment are not accepted. You cannot wait until the 1st day of class to complete enrollment and expect to be registered for the class.
VIP Nursing School is not responsible for the associated fees incurred due to the CNA program like the cost for the physical exam, the TB test, and the live scan fingerprinting services.
