How much does a HHA course cost?

  • There is a tuition fee and a home health aide textbook fee. 
  • The fees for the physical exam with TB test and AHA CPR card may not apply to your situation.
* You are exempted from the CPR card fee if you have a current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers card.

Breakdown of Costs for the HHA Course

Mandatory Fees
  • Nonrefundable registration fee: $50.00
  • Home health aide textbook: $50.00
  • Tuition fee: $350.00

Total Mandatory Cost: $450.00

Other Fees
  • Physical Exam with TB test: $40.00-55.00
  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR card: $75.00
* These fees may not apply to you if they are current and valid at the time of enrollment.

Total (includes mandatory fees and other fees): $565.00-580.00

Optional Fees
  • Blood pressure with stethoscope: $32.00
  • Safety (gait) belt: $15.00
Subtotal: $47.00

Total (includes mandatory fees, other fees, and optional fees): $612.00-627.00

*Students at VIP Nursing School is NOT eligible for FEDERAL STUDENT loans. This institution does not meet the U.S. Department of Education criteria that would allow its students to participate in Federal student aid programs.

Cost of Tuition
  • Total cost of tuition is $350.00. 
  • Forms of payment: Cash, money order, and/or check

Option A:     2 Installments Payment Plan
  • First (1st) installment is paid within the first week of the course: $175.00
  • Second (2nd) installment is paid by the last day of the course: $175.00
* Installment must be paid on the 2nd day for Day Program, and the 5th evening for the Evening Program. Otherwise, a 5% fee is charged for late payments.

Option B:     Tuition Paid in Full within the First Week of Class
  • If tuition is paid in full within the first week of class (one payment), then there is a $25.00 discount. This means you only pay $325.00 for tuition.

Cost of Textbook and Optional Items
  • The home health aide textbook is $50.00 and is due on the 1st day of class. This is a mandatory payment.
  • The blood pressure with stethoscope ($32.00) and safety (gait) belt ($15.00) are optional costs.
